Topographies of semiconductor products
According to the Act of the National Assembly of the Slovak Republic No. 146/2000 Coll. on the protection of topographies of semiconductor products, as amended, topographies of semiconductor products which are the result of creative intellectual activity of the originator and which are not common in the industry of semiconductor products are protected. Protection under this Act shall also apply to parts of topographies which are usable separately as well as to the representation used for the production of the topography.
The term of protection of a topography shall expire at the end of 10 years from the end of the calendar year in which the protection of the topography was established.
