Model CAF

Since 1 January 2019, the Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic has been participating in the national project for the introduction and support of quality management in public administration organisations, specifically implementing the CAF model (Common Assessment Framework - Common Quality Assessment System).As a European model of comprehensive quality management used in the public sector, the aim of the model is self-assessment of the organisation and its continuous improvement in each area of its activities.The years 2020 and 2022 were marked by the implementation of the approved Action Plan for Improvement (hereafter API), which contains detailed implementation programmes focusing on various areas - staffing, technical equipment of the Authority, improvement in the quality of services, proactive feedback from stakeholders and social accountability. The implementation of the APZ will run until the end of 2022.In December 2022, the Authority was able to successfully complete the project under sustainability by regaining the title of Effective User of the CAF model, under which the Authority, its management and staff committed to continuously improve and enhance the Authority's services and approach with regard to both internal and external stakeholders.
