Publication of designations of origin and geographical indications of a third country entered in the international register with an indication for the European Union.

Any international registration of a third country under the Geneva Act with a designation for the European Union which is notified by an international office of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) and concerns a product which is protected at EU level shall be published by the European Commission in the 'C' series of the Official Journal of the European Union. This publication shall give rise to the right to oppose the protection of the name in the territory of the European Union pursuant to Article 6 of Regulation (EU) 2019/1753 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Union's action following its accession to the Geneva Act of the Lisbon Agreement on designations of origin and geographical indications, on the grounds set out therein. The objection may be lodged with the European Commission within four calendar months from the date of publication of the international registration. https://eur-lex.europa.eu/search.html?lang=sk&text=s%C3%A9ria+%22C%22&qid=1616579004760&type=quick&scope=EURLEX&sortOne=DD&sortOneOrder=desc&sortOneOrder=desc
