Applying abroad

Before filing a semiconductor product topography abroad, it is necessary to find out whether the country in which the applicant will apply for protection has the possibility to grant protection for the semiconductor product topography. In order to initiate proceedings for an application for a semiconductor product topography, it is necessary to apply for protection, to submit documents enabling the identification of the semiconductor product topography and, where appropriate, the semiconductor product itself containing the topography in question, to pay fees and to choose a representative who is entitled to represent the applicant in proceedings before this Industrial Property Office.
