Brief description of the project
The aim of the project is to respond to the current capacity constraints, to optimize the operation and also the strategy of the Office of Industrial Property of the Slovak Republic (hereinafter referred to as the Office) in the coming years, and to gradually move to the government cloud all migratable ISVS in accordance with the Strategic Priority of the National Concept of Informatization of Public Administration - Government Cloud.

Within the framework of the project, the IS Webregistry systems, which provide access to data from registers maintained and managed by the Office, and the IS Portal of Electronic Services of the Office of the Industrial Property Office of the SR, which provides electronic services and electronic forms for users of the Office, were migrated to the government cloud.

In accordance with Act No 305/2013 on e-Government, 327 electronic forms and a portal enabling work with them have been created in the framework of the provision of electronic services and electronic forms. Since the launch, the demands on system resources have gradually increased, with minimal capacity and performance enhancements. The aim of the project is to respond to the current capacity constraints of the service and to optimise it in the coming years. Taking into account the above mentioned facts and the outputs of the economic analysis, the migration of the IS Webregistry and the IS Portal of Electronic Services of the Office of the Ministry of the Interior to the government cloud is a logical and justified step leading to their optimal operation, use and ensuring the continuous operation and development of the system over a period of at least five years.
