Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic (IPO SR) in cooperation with the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO ADR) would like to invite you to a webinar on the Mediation of Intellectual Property Disputes.

Webinar is the first of the activities that resulted from the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the IPO SR and WIPO ADR in May of this year, the aim of which is to raise awareness of procedures for alternative resolution of disputes in the field of intellectual property, to identify and train specialised mediators and arbitrators based in the Slovak Republic and to provide mediation and arbitration seminars and educational programs.

Experts - mediators in the field of out-of-court national or international intellectual property disputes will advise you where, when and to whom you can contact if you want to avoid lengthy court proceedings and are considering using mediation to resolve the dispute.
You will learn:

• What is the Arbitration and Mediation Center at the World Intellectual Property Organization
• How mediation works according to the rules of the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center
• What is the situation in the field of mediation of commercial disputes and intellectual property disputes in Slovakia

The webinar will be held in English/Slovak with simultaneous interpretation.
